Dr. Bowers
Originally from Martinsburg, West Virginia, Dr. Timothy Bowers has been practicing General Surgery in the Shenandoah Valley for over 20 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University, graduating with honors in 1990. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1994. He went on to complete his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Kentucky.
Before relocating to Winchester, Virginia he practiced in Martinsburg, West Virginia where he was the director of trauma services and an associate clinical professor of surgery with West Virginia University. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of several surgical societies including the Americas Hernia Society, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
